The Neurodiverse Employment Network

A Thought…..

“Networking isn’t a thing where you just decide to do it one day and flip a switch and then it’s done. It’s about building and cultivating relationships over the course of your entire career. It looks daunting at entry level because that’s when you’re starting to plant the seeds.”

Initiative for Neurodiverse Networking (INN) Founders

Jeanine McAdam

My passion is to generate opportunities for young neurodiverse adults entering the workforce. I am the founder and publisher of Heightsites.com. A hyper-local website focused on art & culture in Northern Manhattan (NYC) which provides internship and job training opportunities to young adults with ASD so that they can practice workplace communication skills, social media marketing & website maintenance/design. Jeanine is finishing her graduate degree in Disability Studies from the CUNY School of Professional Studies.

Sg Gu

Sg is a recent graduate of the CUNY School of Professional Studies, where they earned a degree in Disability Studies. They have extensive experience working in the disability field, particularly in caregiving roles. Prior to completing their master’s degree, Sg helped establish the Disability Collective at NYU Gallatin, with a focus on education and facilitating conversations around disability justice. As a Washington Heights resident, Sg was previously involved in co-founding and maintaining the Uptown Fridge. Currently, Sg supports this network by contributing their perspective as a neurodivergent individual and through their ongoing work with people with physical and developmental disabilities.
